About Me

Hi, my name is Simone Inez Grice, and I’m an illustrator and designer from Detroit, Michigan. I am a recent graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I studied Illustration alongside Graphic Design and Fine Arts.

My work explores creativity across multiple mediums, blending visual storytelling with design to create engaging and meaningful experiences. I love using bold graphics, intricate line-work, and vibrant colors to craft designs that feel fresh, fun, and connected to culture.

My work draws from both traditional and contemporary Black art, reimagined through modern design to tell stories across patterns, packaging, posters, editorial, and multi surface illustration. By centering individuality and representation, I strive to disrupt industry norms and design with intention, crafting visuals that resonate with diverse communities while remaining appealing to all. I’m passionate about creating art that feels authentic, bold, and visually engaging.

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me making music, singing karaoke, going to concerts, cooking, painting, sculpting, swimming, or traveling (maybe not in this economy)
